If vibrate mode is important, make sure you try before you buy : Samsung Replenish Android Phone, Black (Sprint)
My wife purchased this phone as her first entry into the android/smartphone market and initially loved the fact that the $10 per month being waived was a great buy. At only $50 with her upgrade from a Samsung Rant, she was sold! However, she didn't like the fact that she couldn't get straight through an whole day without putting her phone on the charger. advent from the Rant, we were informed of the heavy battery power it took to run an android phone, but this was unexpected. She is still learning to get over this flaw. However, she does notice that the phone gets very hot when she talks on it and/or plays games on it (Wordfeud and Jewels of course). It doesn't burn her or anything, but we've noticed that it gets hotter than the Lg Optimus after similar usage (my phone). A watchout for new android users. Aside from that, the phone is cool (no pun intended). The applications seem to work well. She can watch Youtube videos and stream Pandora (while the phone is plugged in if extended usage), and the vibration on the phone was similar to the Rant. I mean, it won't shake off the table, but you'll hear it on a table or desk... You'll have to pay attentiveness to it in your pocket as the call could be missed due to the light vibration. Pictures looked okay (from a old Rant's point of view). Overall, still like the phone.
