Apples to Apples : Apple Wireless Keyboard MC184LL/B [NEWEST VERSION]
Apple's wireless keyboard paired with Apple's iPad 2? Of course they make a great pair. I already have a beautiful case for my iPad and wasn't interested in getting a keyboard that was integrated into a case. My main use with the keyboard will be extending the usefulness of the iPad for writing when I am home. That being said, I wanted a keyboard small enough so that if I did want to pop it into a bag and take it with me it wouldn't take up very much room. This keyboard is perfect! Don't let it's compact size (8 3/32"l x 5 1/8"w x 3/4" - at the back, most of it is only 1/8" deep) fool you. This is a full function keyboard. Setup was a breeze. I just turned it on, made sure bluetooth was turned on on the iPad, and watched the little lights blink as the two peices of equipment said hello and got aquainted. Screen brightness, volume and play/pause/track are all controllable with the keyboard. To go back to the iPad's screen keyboard just use the eject button on the wireless keyboard. Apple's iPad 2 and Wireless Keyboard clearly recognize each other as two peices of fruit from the same family tree.
